An Afternoon of Indie returns to Saltbox Bar for a festive celebration on Saturday 13 December 2025. Running from 14:00 to 18:00, this Christmas edition brings together Old School Indie, Feeling Gloomy, and Age Against The Machine for an afternoon of indie classics spanning seven decades.
DJs will curate a selection of tracks from the 1970s through to the 2000s, featuring artists including Bowie, The Smiths, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, and Blur, alongside rock, soul, and ska. The event operates a strict over-30s door policy with ID required. Attendees can enjoy the afternoon before heading to Madness at the neighbouring Arena or continuing festivities in the city centre.
