Pentire are an indie band from Herefordshire that crafts pop-oriented songs rooted in storytelling. The four-piece draw inspiration from artists including The Killers, Paolo Nutini, and Stereophonics, weaving narratives around student life, small-town experiences, and youth into their work.
Formed when frontman Jack and guitarist Owen met drummer Jake and bass player Jacob at university, Pentire has built a reputation through consistent touring across the UK. The band has performed at festivals including Truck, Y Not, Isle of Wight, and Splendour, whilst receiving support from BBC Radio 1 Future Artists.
Following their new single 'I Won't Waste Your Time', Pentire will tour the UK in 2026 in support of a forthcoming EP, marking their first performances in Dublin, Ireland alongside shows on larger stages nationally.
