Join us at Pippley Cookery School with expert guest baker Steve Daniels (I Like It Bakery) for our first Introduction to Sourdough Bread Making class.
On this introduction to sourdough bread making, you will learn how to make a country-style sourdough, covering the key steps to make an excellent sourdough bread. From building and looking after your sourdough starter, to a deeper understanding of flour, fermentation, mixing, shaping and all the steps needed to make a great loaf.
Steve will give you the knowledge and hands-on experience to make great bread regardless of your home set up. Plus it’s perfect for beginners.
The day runs from 9:30am to 4pm, with refreshments and lunch provided, plus a guided tour of Pippley’s gardens with our head gardener.
