Smile celebrates the enduring musical legacy of Nat King Cole and Gregory Porter through an evening of jazz and popular standards. Vocalist Louis Connor and guitarist Tom Morgan lead a full live band in a programme spanning nearly a century of music, from classic jazz to contemporary soul. The performance explores the artistic connection between these two pioneering musicians, presenting a diverse repertoire that includes Smile, L-O-V-E, Let There Be Love, Liquid Spirit, Route 66, and Stand By Me, alongside further favourites from both catalogues.
Doors open at 7pm with the performance running from 8pm to 10pm, including an interval. The band comprises Louis Connor on vocals, Tom Morgan on guitar, Matt Ratcliffe on piano, Tom Clarke-Hill on double bass, and Andrew 'Woody' Wood on drums.
