Judah Daniels is a Birmingham-born multi-instrumentalist making his mark in contemporary jazz. His groove-based piano style draws influence from gospel, R&B, and classical music, creating a distinctive sound that builds on the legacy of Ahmad Jamal and Oscar Peterson.
Performing with his trio at Peggy's Skylight, Judah presents an engaging blend of original compositions and reimagined standards. Joined by Liz Blackwell on bass and Louis Hamilton-Foad on drums, the group explores the intersection of tradition, R&B, and modern jazz through rhythmic interplay and spontaneous musical conversation. Doors open at 7pm, with the performance running from 8pm to 10pm including an interval.
