Frank Cognoscenti brings his extensive experience in the Sinatra repertoire to Peggy's Skylight, performing alongside the Edgar Macías Quartet. With over two decades performing these classic standards globally, Cognoscenti delivers polished vocals paired with an engaging stage presence.
Pianist Edgar Macías has curated this programme drawing inspiration from Sinatra's intimate Radio Days recordings of the 1950s, alongside his later collaborations with the Red Norvo Sextet and Brazilian composer Antonio Carlos Jobim. The quartet arrangement adapts notable big band works originally scored by Nelson Riddle, Billy May, Count Basie, and other arrangers, reimagined for small ensemble.
The performance takes place from 2pm to 4pm, with dining available from 1pm. The lineup features Frank Cognoscenti on vocals, Chris Bowden on flute, clarinet and saxophones, Edgar Macías on piano, Bill Coleman on bass, and Miles Levin on drums.
