Sock Puppet Workshop
About this event
Participants are invited to transform an odd sock into a unique puppet creation at this hands-on workshop. Using a selection of craft materials including googly eyes, yarn, buttons, and fabric scraps, attendees will design and construct their own puppet character.
Once creations are complete, facilitators will introduce fundamental puppetry techniques, demonstrating how to manipulate the puppet to create movement, expression, and dialogue. This workshop combines creative crafting with performance fundamentals, offering participants practical experience in both puppet-making and basic puppetry skills. The session takes place in the Neville Studio at Nottingham Playhouse.
