About this event

Led by writer and performance artist Bridie Squires, this poetry workshop invites participants to explore nature-inspired writing through the work of Simon Armitage. The session combines close reading of Armitage's poetry with outdoor observation in Nottingham Central Library's green spaces, encouraging participants to develop their own creative responses.

Bridie Squires is a Nottingham-based writer, performance artist and founder of GOBS Collective. Her work spans poetry, playwriting and journalism, with features on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Sounds. She has performed at notable venues including Nottingham Playhouse, where her one-woman shows premiered in recent years.
