Assunta and Lou After School Art Club

Join Assunta and Lou, an artist mother and daughter duo, for an engaging After School Art Club at Nottingham Central Library. This session explores both digital and traditional art methods, welcoming children aged 3-11 years alongside their parents or guardians.

Participants will collaborate on creative projects that layer drawing, painting, and collage techniques over digital prints. The session uses a range of materials including watercolour, gouache, pastels, crayons, and marker pens, providing a relaxed environment for families to develop artistic skills together. Attendees are advised to dress for creative mess.

Six spaces are available, with each child requiring a parent or carer present. A photo permission form will be sent to registrants before the event. This activity is supported by the National Lottery through Arts Council England and the University of Lincoln Quality Research Fund.
