Assunta and Lou After School Art Club

Join Assunta and Lou, an artist mother and daughter duo, for an engaging After School Art Club at Nottingham Central Library. This creative session invites children aged 3-11 and their parents or guardians to explore both digital and traditional art media together.

Participants will experiment with layering drawing, painting, and collage techniques over digital prints using watercolour, gouache, pastels, crayons, and marker pens. The relaxed, informal atmosphere encourages creativity and collaborative exploration between children and adults. Six spaces are available, with each child requiring a parent or carer present. Attendees are advised to dress for mess.

A photo permission and additional requirements form will be sent to all participants before the event. This activity is supported by the National Lottery through Arts Council England and the University of Lincoln Quality Research Fund.
