Join us for a free film screening of Faya Dayi (2021).
Faya Dayi is a visually rich documentary set in Ethiopia that explores life around the cultivation and consumption of khat, a stimulant leaf deeply woven into social and economic life. Through intimate portraits and striking black-and-white imagery, the film reflects on youth, dreams, migration and the search for opportunity.
Come early at 5pm to join us for our Community Kitchen, our monthly pay-what-you-can community meal.
