When Tess's parents, who work in the emergency services, are delayed once again, she finds herself celebrating Christmas with her Gran and Uncle Mike. As they gather at the Lace Market Theatre, an unexpected shift in circumstances threatens to transform what has always been a familiar, if unconventional, holiday arrangement into something altogether different.
