JT Soar

JT Soar is a beloved DIY music and arts cooperative in Nottingham, located in a former fruit and vegetable warehouse near Sneinton Market. Launched in 2009, the venue takes it's name from this former warehouse, the sign for which still stands proudly on the wall outside. 

The venue serves as a recording studio, rehearsal space, and intimate gig venue known for its strong community feel, all-ages shows, BYOB policy, and diverse, grassroots music scene. It's helped launch the careers of acts like Sleaford Mods and Divorce and in 2025 was the subject of a 'Scene Spotlight' radio documentary by BBC 6Music. 

It's a hub for independent artists and fans, offering a unique, inclusive, house-party-like atmosphere for discovering new bands
