The Institute of Mental Health's Centre for ADHD and Neurodevelopmental Disorders Across the Lifespan (CANDAL) is offering an in-person ADHD SENCO Training Programme on Wednesday 16 June 2027. Delivered by academic professionals and facilitators with lived experience, this workshop equips Special Education Needs Co-ordinators with evidence-based knowledge of ADHD identification and classroom management.

Participants will gain understanding of ADHD science, local care pathways, and referral processes for medical professionals. The training follows a 'train the trainer' model, enabling SENCOs to cascade learning to their school staff. The day includes a networking lunch and participants receive workbooks and resources for ongoing use. Registration is now open.
