About this event

The Institute of Mental Health's Centre for ADHD and Neurodevelopmental Disorders Across the Lifespan (CANDAL) is delivering a ADHD SENCO Training Programme on Wednesday 25 November 2026. This in-person workshop, facilitated by academic professionals and practitioners with lived experience, provides Special Education Needs Co-ordinators with evidence-based knowledge of ADHD identification and classroom management.

Participants will explore the latest research findings, understand the neurological basis of ADHD, and learn about local care pathways and referral processes in Nottingham. The programme includes a networking lunch and provides workbooks and resources enabling attendees to train colleagues across their school. Facilitators include Dr Blandine French, Dr Charlotte Hall, Professor Maddie Groom, and Dr Abby Russell.
