The Institute of Mental Health's Centre for ADHD and Neurodevelopmental Disorders Across the Lifespan (CANDAL) invites Special Education Needs Coordinators to attend the ADHD SENCO Training Programme on 17 June 2026. This in-person workshop, delivered by academic professionals and facilitators with lived experience, combines evidence-based research with practical classroom application.

Participants will develop comprehensive knowledge of ADHD identification and classroom presentation, explore Nottingham's local care pathways, and access resources to train colleagues school-wide. The programme follows a 'train the trainer' model, enabling SENCOs to cascade learning across their institutions. The day concludes with a networking lunch and includes workbook materials for ongoing reference.
