About this event

Live Comedy is returning to the Horse and Plough in Bingham.
After the departure of the much loved and missed Ian Whitcombe (don't worry, he's still alive - just living in Scotland), previous headliner Stevie Gray has stepped in with his Flat Cap Comedy brand to help resurrect this sleeping beauty of a comedy night.

What a lineup we have for our first night back; 3 previous headline acts, as well as the hottest rising star out of the North West, plus a comedian from Bingham itself!

Dave Longley
Dave Longley is a difficult comedian to define; on the one hand, abrasive, crude and insulting and on the other, articulate, intelligent and disarmingly funny.
Acid tongued and as sharp as a barrel full of tacks… As intense and intelligent performer as you're likely to see - The List
Intelligent, silly, thought-provoking and filthy" - Metro

Freddie Farrell
Birmingham based Freddie has a short storytelling style that brings you in to hang of his every word, he has a unique take on everyday life but with an added twist.

“Freddie Farrell is a charming funny man… one to watch for sure” - Joe Lycett

Kie Carson
Kie Carson is a rising comedian from Liverpool quickly gaining attention on the UK comedy circuit. Known for his natural energy and infectious enthusiasm, he captivates audiences with an effortless stage presence and sharp, relatable humour. Described as “extremely likeable, relevant, and very funny” (Nodding Dog), Kie combines charm and openness with an intelligent, original perspective that sets him apart. The Stand praised his natural delivery, while Funhouse Comedy hailed him as “a promising, original and intelligent, young upcoming act.” With his wit and warmth, Kie Carson is already marked as “one to watch” in the comedy world.

Lauren Buck
Completing the lineup will be Bingham resident Lauren Buck. An actor turned comedian will bring her own twist of fun, silly yet dark humour to the evening. A relative newcomer to comedy, Lauren has been building up momentum ever since and will be performing at this years Leicester Comedy Festival.

The night will be compered by Stevie Gray: with a wonderful mix of Crowd Work, Audeince Interaction, Music, Stories and Jokes.
