Twice a year the poetry group Dandelions takes over the bookshop with a combination of a guest poet and (bookable) open mike.

We’re usually fully booked, so reserve the date.

Dandelions poetry is back at Five Leaves for our special midsummer poetry reading. We are very excited to have Amy Acre reading for us. There will be a supportive open mic too, so please come and share your poems. To book a space on the open mic email [email protected]

Amy Acre is a poet and editor, living in Nottingham. Her collection, Mothersong (Bloomsbury, 2023), was shortlisted for the John Pollard Foundation International Poetry Prize, highly commended in the Forward Prizes and named a Book of the Year in the Telegraph, the Financial Times and California Review of Books. She runs independent publisher, Bad Betty Press.
