Duchess Theatre

The Chatsworth Arts Centre and Duchess Theatre now provide some of the most up-to-date and flexible facilities for any community arts venue in the area.

These include:

• A 180 capacity auditorium - comprising 54 permanent seats ('the balcony') and 126 retractable

• 4 backstage dressing rooms (1 large 'studio', 2 medium, 1 smaller)

• up-to-date full stage lighting & sound installation

• Licensed bar facilities

• Kitchen/coffee bar facilities

• Large stage & generous wing areas

• Backstage toilet block (inc disabled facilities)

• Foyer

• 'Cavendish Lounge' area for meetings and audience interval use

• Induction loop system

With the seating retracted, the whole of the Devonshire Studio is opened up for anyone to hire for events such as:
