This hands-on STEM workshop invites children to explore sound and vibration by constructing their own tonoscope from recycling materials. Participants will work with local STEM experts to build a functional instrument they can take home and continue experimenting with.
Children are encouraged to bring a cardboard tube and large plastic pot (such as yoghurt or pot noodle containers) to use in their project. Spare materials will be available for those unable to bring items from home.
