Join crime writer Stephen Booth as he discusses the adaptation of his Cooper and Fry detective novels for television. With four books from his Derbyshire-set series recently adapted for Channel Five, Booth offers insight into the process of bringing his atmospheric mysteries to the screen, with further adaptations in development.
Booth is the author of the acclaimed Cooper and Fry series, which follows detectives Ben Cooper and Diane Fry as they investigate complex murders across the Peak District. A former journalist, his work has been translated into numerous languages and includes 18 series entries alongside standalone novels and a novella. This event provides a unique opportunity to hear directly from the author about adapting his writing for television.
