Brendon Lawrence Sports Centre is run by The Renewal Trust, a local community development charity based in St Ann's and Sneinton. The centre offers a range of sports and activities for children, young people and adults, including football, tennis, netball and active play sessions for little ones. It also runs a Holiday Camp for local children aged 8+ years during the school holidays.
The centre includes a sports hall the size of four badminton courts, which can hold up to 400 people, complete with changing rooms and showers. The hall is marked out for various sports such as football, basketball and netball. It's also home to a fitness/dance studio suitable for up to 20 people, ideal for fitness/dance classes or non-sporting events.
The sports hall and fitness/dance studio are both available for private hire - for both sporting activities and non-sporting events such as children's parties and community events.
The centre also offers free car parking, a loung area to relax in and vending macines providing refreshments.
