Shanghai Treason brings Yorkshire banjo punk to Billy Bootleggers on Friday 26 February 2027. The band combines folk rock instrumentation with energetic performances, drawing comparison to acts including Ferocious Dog, The Levellers, and Flogging Molly. Their politically conscious material blends traditional and contemporary influences, creating a sound suited to both intimate venues and festival stages.
The group has built a reputation through extensive UK touring, supporting established acts and headlining their own shows across grassroots venues and festivals including Beautiful Days, Bearded Theory, and Stone Valley.
