Pop Goes Alt transforms popular hits into alternative anthems at Billy Bootleggers on Friday 21 August 2026. This beach-themed event combines pop-punk, emo, rock and metal music, featuring tracks from artists including Bring Me The Horizon, My Chemical Romance, Paramore and Linkin Park, alongside contemporary alt and rock releases spanning from 2006 to today.

The venue will feature tropical décor with palm accents and summer lighting. Guests are encouraged to wear beach attire such as Hawaiian shirts, board shorts and sundresses. The first 50 arrivals receive complimentary gifts, and a full request policy allows attendees to influence the music selection throughout the evening.

All proceeds support Lupus UK. Tickets are £10 at the door. The event begins at 22:30.
